So open can see us conceding 2 at least.

No top sides consistently play 2 up top, without the ball we'll get overrun in midfield.

It all depends on how Jovetic and Navas are deployed when we dont have the ball, personally im going to give it 5 minutes to se how we set up before I start my whingeing today.

Assuming we are playing two up top
Jovetic is more of a wide midfielder is my understanding.
Jovetic and Navas out wide and nasri playing behind aguero is what it is

all on jovetic today. sacrificing an extra midfielder to play him. if he does his stuff it will work because their midfield will have to drop deep and pick him up which will take the pressure off fernandinho and yaya.
I don't think this formation is 442 at all

Crikey so many people giving in already, maybe the team should just say "that lot on Bluemoon have given up on us let's go home before the match lads!!!"

We are Manchester City, we play and fight to the end. Let's have some positive thoughts please!!!

They read bluemoon for a giggle no one takes it seriously surely

Jovetic is not a pure striker and usually doesn't play that way, so this doesn't really seem a 4-4-2 to begin with.

I imagine with Merlin fit you might have seen Aguero as an out and out lone striker here. I'd like to have seen Lamps added to the midfield, but maybe at his age and coming off midweek he hasn't the legs left for it.
