Good chance to see the ISS pass over Manchester tonight:
Sat Jul 17, 11:34 PM7 min62°10° above WSW10° above E

Another chance to see it if you're interested. 22:46. That's 5 mins from now!

Anybody else not convinced both the Virgin and Bezo flights are really space flights and true weightlessness?

To me, to be truly in space, you have to be at least in orbit. Second i noticed the Virgin flights weightlessness was more akin to the Russian vomit comet. It did last longer, but was due to the craft losing altitude hence the "effect" of weightlessness.

Just caught it going over Offerton passing from the west to East.

Mad as it looks really low to be flying in space.
Yeah...it looks too near to be in space. And it's the size of a football field in total...solar panels and all that. How can we see something the size of a football field that's 250 miles away?
I think it's the same reason with the moon looks closer than it actually is...Earth's atmosphere magnifies the light

I agree. They're now arguing over it. NASA claims REAL space is about 100 miles up...yet Branson only went to 50 miles. The ISS orbits at 250 miles up. Other pilots have flown higher than Branson many times.

And about 5mins after a satellite went wizzing past on the same track.
