Spain were class and Costa Rica were poor
Couldn't believe pundit reactions to Rodri and Laport as a pair at the back pre-game. Complete and utter class.

To be fair, I looked at that front 6 and said they'll pass teams to death but not many goals in it.

Spain were very impressive but Costa Rica were awful, we'll see how good Spain are versus Germany and Japan.

City scored 150 goals last season, the most in Europe. Did we have many goals in our forwards, Sterling, Jesus, Foden, Grealish and Mahrez?

Both defence and attack are much more than sums of defenders and attackers. Haaland and Alvarez are much better finishers than Jesus and Sterling, but it's not guaranteed we are going to score more goals and points this season.

Fair points, I agree that the next games will be more difficult. At the same time, Spain were really good in the Euros last year. Thought they were the better team vs Italy. I share 538's take that they are the 2nd best team behind Brazil. England have better players, specially attackers, but the manager is a bit average.
