Not the most entertaining of games, but England won't be unhappy going into the break at 0-0. Spain so far look the more dangerous team, but England do have a threat on the counter. Kane's lack of pace and mobility is a concern and Watkins would cause Spain's defence more probloms.

Only take a couple of tweaks for you to win this in the 90 mins. You have more in the squad that can actually score.

Spain haven’t a cutting edge up front.

Both wingers have been really well managed and you have a crowded box that’s very hard to penetrate. Certainly Morata has been well off. Stones has the centre of defence well marshalled.

The worry with going past the 90 minutes would be that Shaw will eventually be got at. He won’t have the legs to keep Yamal quiet for 120 minutes.

I predicted 5-3 to England on penalties.
I hope it’s won in normal time and we get a few goals but, can see more of the same second half. Hope not.
