On my way to the tattoo shop.
Looks like Barca & Real (plus 5 others) are going to have to pay back millions of Euros to the government after the EU ruled that tax breaks & dodgy land deals were against competition rules.

Following three separate in-depth investigations, the European Commission has concluded that public support measures granted by Spain to seven professional football clubs gave those clubs an unfair advantage over other clubs in breach of EU State aid rules.

As a result, Spain has to recover the illegal State aid amounts from the seven clubs, namely FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Valencia, Athletic Bilbao, Atlético Osasuna, Elche and Hercules.

I wonder if supporters of other clubs across Europe will go on and on about financial doping and that their achievements are meaningless in the way they did with us after we got fined for breaking a last minute new interpretation of FFP rules.

So basically it's just a loan to cheat?
