Wonder if there’d be such a furore if this was an attractive female kissing a male player?

She would have been called all manner of nasty things and the male player would have been given a slap on the back (even if he actually was also highly uncomfortable with it). But, regardless, the male player wouldn’t have been humiliated in front of millions of people.

Again, the context of everything that came before this is key to understanding this incident and what had followed, as well as acknowledging the vast difference in power dynamics between men and women, especially in football and Spanish culture.

You certainly as a president can't just kiss a player full on the mouth and pretend it was consensual and what was the crotch grabbing stuff all about as well?
