Spanish police

Police obviously non accountable.....typical of Europe and just one of the reasons why I want out.

Little men with sticks, most weighed about 10 stone wet through and its probably the only fight they could ever win.

It's ironic when we have our own fans prepared to give up our freedoms so easily too, wanting the introduction of the ticket collection, subjected wristbands and herding to various places.
I won't be doing Italy again, have to consider Spain before going again.

What was laughable about the whole wristband/passport thing was that nobody got theirs checked from what I saw, yet it still took an absolute age to get into the ground.

Exactly.
At least in Paris the wristband was checked.

Think there's clear evidence now it's the club's idea to introduce the wristband and passport for this game.

The passport rule is UEFA nothing to do with the club. It's been in place for years.

got big bruises on my backside after being stuck by a baton wielding thug/policeman........doing nothing more than walking along the concourse to gain entry to my seat..another copper had a wry smile on his face after numerous fans got a pasting..........a licence to hammer people..............disgusting.........city fans were well behaved in general.........as per....nothing will be done....our club need to lauch an official complaint......not holding my breath on that one.....

That's exactly what happened to me mate - once I finally got in the ground, I attempted to make my way up the steps to my seat and got beaten back down on to the concourse and batoned across my legs. Thankfully I didn't incur any serious injuries but I've rarely felt as helpless as when I was on my backside. One bloke was so disgusted with their behaviour that he walked out of the ground.

Te next twat who comes to my door asking me to vote to stay in Europe will be shown the video of these incidents.Would love to know how these public servants(coward cops) are held accountable to the public in this union.

I'd never had to show my passport before this season. Some ID in Italy to confirm the name written on your ticket but this passport thing is new.

Ah it's an Italy thing? I had to show my passport at the city juve game years ago. I thought it was a UEFA rule

When I collected my ticket and wristband on Tuesday, City were saying Madrid police had requested passports be taken to the game as opposed to other photo id which is what the original letter and e-mail from the club said.
