Speculation on League Cup Final Tickets

Its unpopular when its brought up but we have only about 25,000 hardcore fans. Any allocation to a popular game where we are offered less than 25,000 leads to issues getting tickets. When they offer more than that it tends to be pretty easy to get hold of tickets.

The timing being in the middle of the Barcelona fixtures will put some people off and its the 6th trip to wembley in 3 years for many so I don't think there will be an issue getting tickets for this match.

I have 4,000 loyalty points, a season ticket and i'm not in the cup scheme but I don't think i will have any trouble getting tickets.

Yeah, there will definitely be some left after season ticket holders have got theirs. I'm sure it will go down to Blue members, maybe even any blue member.

I'm on the cup scheme but like an idiot i didn't put my son on it - its his 1st year as a ST holder - hope I can get him one. Promised him a day out at Wembley

Depending on your points you can get him one with yours as the club put a limited amount of tickets away for kids to get with parents , don't know how many exactly, iv done this myself for all our wembley games and some away games too.

Sounds like we'll get the same amount of tickets as we did for last season's fa cup final. Anyone that wants one will get one. It will go to blue members maybe even open sale.

We were given extra tickets as Wigan didn't sell all of theirs. Didn't we end up with 3/4 of the lower tier which meant we had about 36k there? That's why it went down to Blue members. There may be a few hundred left after ST sales this time but certainly not 4 figures

Somebody must have been looking over me back in the day; when collecting tokens from City programs
got you over the line and a ticket to Wembley. Well it did for me in 74 and 76.

Couldnt you also use front of away programme and get tokens from reserve team sheets?

You are quite correct that a lot of ST holders won't go but they just buy tickets for others.

Not too late to become a Blue member. If you have had one previously you should keep any existing points as well

there should be plenty of tickets, we only had 28000 of our own fans turn out for the semi final, we have literally loads of fans who havnt seen a league cup game this season.
