Spent a billion quid...

I bet Wenger and Levy cream themselves who can get the closest to zero netspend every season.

It's been pretty much the same through the decades, who ever spends the most normally wins. Forest were very good at poaching the best under Clough, and Liverpool were the same in their dominance. Jack Walker showed that it works too

The billion refers to what the sheikh has spent. Take the purchase price plus all of our annual losses since then to get very approximately the true figure. And it won't be far short of a billion, if it all. And FFP has meant that the losses are probably understated.

That website is generally decent but they have some exaggerated fees

eg. Navas 22m instead of 14m
Jovetic 26m instead of 22m
Negredo 21m instead of 16m
Rodwell 15m instead of 12m
Our net spending last summer according to our accounts was £84.1m

So based on that websites figures we had a gross spend of approx £700m on winning our first Premier League title while Liverpool are £650m and counting.

We haven't spent anywhere close to that on players.

Who cares, we won the league and they didn't - it's just called jealously.

Realistically, every football fan would love their club to be run the way ours is.

Just by matter of interest how much have the rags spent on managing there debt?
I see what you did there :)
I've heard around 750m quoted.

Is my math terribly wrong or have FSG spent over a billion just since 2010?

Real Madrid must of spent double that? and we have won more leagues then them with a squad that was much worser to start off with!!
