I really don't understand all the nonsense about their second goal, it deflected off of two players, they got lucky as fuck...end of.

I don't have a problem with 1 up front, it can be a very attacking formation if your midfield do their jobs getting forward.

In this case we had Bellamy, SWP and Ireland to provide support to Adebayor with De Jong and Barry back supporting the defence.

Didn't really work (for whatever reason) but I wouldn't write off 1 up front on the strength of that performance.
