SPINELESS

I equate spineless to lacking courage and leadership. I don't think we have got enough of either.

We are happy not losing. It takes bottle to win. Comfortable doing just enough.

It's blatantly obvious we haven't got things right at the back YET, but your post was well OTT you don't come from behind at Anfield to dominate the second half if you're spineless!!

I agree the team isn't spineless... The coaching staff on the other hand?

FFS! Yeah benching Tevez and taking off Barry were spineless *facepalm*

When was the last time we won a game away from home In the Prem after we went behind? Answers on a postcard please.

Bluemoon1078 is bob on. Benching Tevez = not spineless and absolutely the right thing to do. This team are still on for a top 4 spot - don't forget we have still played fewer home games and still only lost one!

we have too much small players in our midfield...lets play Kompany here or buy Yaya.

de jong was immense today and has been for most games this season, his passing may be woeful at times but other than that he does his job very well. the full backs are clearly the problem and what needs replacing. for me though, it doesn't need to be big name replacements, anyone who can defend and dispose, has good positional sense and can cross/get forward on occasion will suffice... or in short, maybe someone who can actually do their job.

I don't have a problem with 1 up front, it can be a very attacking formation if your midfield do their jobs getting forward.

In this case we had Bellamy, SWP and Ireland to provide support to Adebayor with De Jong and Barry back supporting the defence.

Didn't really work (for whatever reason) but I wouldn't write off 1 up front on the strength of that performance.

Unfortunately bellamy and barry were innafective today and swo and ireland werent in the game till the second half but were much improved
