They don't take wild stabs in the dark, that is the entire point. they use an incredibly common, easily researchable technique known as cold reading.

absolutely, a dj that had passed over came through to somebody and had the medium rapping to everyone,amongst it all the medium started spitting out these rules about the spirit world.....how they won`t tell people when they`re gonna die...lotto numbers...the winner of the 2:40 at Newmarket...shit like that you know what I mean.
