Day Trip
Manchester City face a tough task when travelling to 6 times European Cup winners Bayern Munich.
We have done many trips to Munich in the last few years and on this occassion we feel a day trip will suit many especially given expensive hotel prices and the strong Euro. However we assure that it will be a great day out and a good trip.
Depart approx 07.00 from Manchester arriving into Munich approx 10:50 local time.
On arrival in Munich there will be coach transfers to the city centre where you will be able to spend the afternoon at leisure. The drop off point is very close to the old town. There are many bars and restaurants around the Marienplatz. Everyone should have a great time in this part of town.
You will need to make your own way to the Metro station for the match. This can be easily accessed by the highly reliable Metro system in Munich.
After the match coaches will be waiting in the visiting supporters car and bus park. We will endeavour to fill the buses one by one and get people back to the airport as quickly as possible.
The departure time is very much subject to extra time and penalties. We are working on a basis of a departure at 01:00 but we all know this could be ambitious if the game is level at the end of normal time. Therefore passengers are informed that if they book this flight they waive their rights to delay compensation under EU261 rules or equivalent as it is clearly in the interest of all travelling supporters that the return time is slightly fluid. If we get back for a departure at 01:00 we would expect to land back into Manchester approx 02:40 local time.
Price includes the eye watering cost of airport tax for an adhoc charter roundtrip Manchester-Munich and also greatly increased costs of local coach transfers. Price excludes match ticket. Please note we do not supply match tickets.

*Name changes are free up until 10 days prior to travel. After this there is a £75 charge per name until 5 days before travel. NO NAME CHANGES WILL BE ALLOWED WITHIN 5 DAYS OF TRAVEL.
