Sporting CP (A) - Post-Match Thread

You could add this season but you're right, it's one more league. My point still stands though, no one can deny what he achieved there or how he improved the players under his wing. Man City and Liverpool are the best run clubs in league, with the two best managers in the world.
Sniff

No you’re bang wrong.

City are the best run club in the league by a mile with the best manager in the world by a mile. Then come Chelsea who have comfortably outperformed the dippers since Klopp’s arrival.

Klopp is in the 2nd tier of managers along with Conte and Tuchel

Deluded as fuck, Dippers are not a well run club, propped up by historical itinerant support, huge investments when they were dominating football in the 70’s onwards, nicked our Scouting database and sold players for false values to clubs who were naive.

Three trophies in 15 years, helped by Var, the most vile supporters in the most horrible City in the UK, we don’t need to go over old ground but they are the biggest bunch of wankers in the English game.

Klopp is a bully, a **** and not fit to lace Pep’s boots, can’t wait for his demise.

Okay. I get it, honestly, I do. Respect the opposition, and take nothing for granted. ANYTHING is possible. And with away goals not counting double any more, you never know. However, if we don't qualify for the quarter finals from here, I'd be ever so slightly annoyed.

Have you never heard of "typical city"

Even now I keep expecting it to make a return every now and then :-)

Woah, easy lad...

Klopp is a level above Tuchel and Conté and you know it.

The latters are extremely good managers, however one still has to win the english league and has a much higher budget than Klopp. The other didn't win anything at a European level and is known to walk out as soon as things don't go his way. Chelsea are very well run club but have too much of a manager turn-over to really establish a continued dominance in english football.

Liverpool are one of the best run clubs in the league at the moment, like it or not. They smell smart, buy even smarter. Their results, trophies and form since Klopp got in are undeniable, unless you go full blue tinted specs and sing "Lalala, I can't hear you."

Klopp's a ****, the dippers have shite supporters (which is true), horrible city etc... has nothing to do with what we're discussing. Unless you let emotions get in the way. As for VAR, let's just not go down that path.

The current english footballing era is being defined by Pep (whom I absolutely adore and rate above any other manager) and Klopp. They will leave the english league more or less at the same time. In decades people will look back and speak about them the same way it's been about Wenger and Ferguson.

It's 1:30 on Thursday morning and I still can't get over how awesome they were on Tuesday. If Liverpool had drawn Sporting and had their 0-2 away win it would be all they'd be talking about on ESPN. I feel like City have entered the situation where they're so much better than everybody else that the media has to ignore them and hype any team that has even a slim chance to beat them. The reality is that of the six other teams to play this week none of them could carry a City player's jock.

Next week it's Chelsea v Lille and Villareal v Juventus on Tuesday. Wednesday Atletico will take charge against the scum and Ajax will probably take control against Benfica.

If City stay in this form there's not a team who can beat them over two legs. Obviously the final is a different animal and Pep might decide to sit Rodri and Fern and start with four CBs. Hopefully this year he'll dance with who brung him.

Bollocks, Klopp has won 2 trophies in 7 years, you had the benefit of the Coutino money, mugging Barca off for £150m, you also sold 2 shite players for about £40m to Bournemouth and Sheffield United, that won’t happen again.

Dippers illegally hacked our data base, failed FFP and used the imaginary “new stadium” to hide a £50m overspend. Sponsored by a company involved in money laundering for a terrorist organisation, many examples of shocking behaviour by the fans especially on European away days, broke lockdown laws to celebrate 1 Top flight success in 30 years and set fire to a building in the City Centre, not to mention the disgusting attack on the City bus. In addition 2 supporters were investigated for abusing/spitting on the City staff during a game at home, instead of being banned which would happen anywhere else they were moved to different seats.

Klopp is a bullying ****, excuse after excuse, aided by all the divers in the team there has been plenty of dodgy decisions and Var has done nothing to hide that. City had to spend big under Pep but now we’ve got a stable squad with academy players coming through the system. Dippers bought Elliott from Fulham and apparently he us the new Messi, I’ve got news, he fucking isn’t.

So to sum up that club is rotten to the core, supported by glory hunters and their offspring from all over the place. I hear them on the radio, here’s a big Dipper fan on the line, followed by an accent thats from anywhere but Dipperville, absolute fucking wankers.
