What was also pleasing last night, was that when we lost the ball and a player was out of position, there were TWO others willing to sprint back to cover and press the player with the ball. This happened with intensity even when we were 4-0 up.
We are a great team and as Pep always insists, we are humble.

A lot of you are getting wildly carried away.

Sporting we’re very pleasing on the eye going forward but the defensive element of their game was almost non existent. They left space in all the exact areas we love and their naivety in “having a go” was bordering on insane, especially in a first leg.

Any top team would have given them their arses last night.

That’s not to say we weren’t really good but let’s be honest they were shit.
