Sporting v City Pre Match Discussion Thread

I'm more worry about the midfield, shut down Silva and all City's creativity and movement in the middle will totally stop too (DJ, Milner, Barry will be too static and can't create anything if Sporting does quick pressing).

we have a lot of creative options on the bench.

Scoring an away goal will be enough for us to advance, even if we lose 2-1. Horrid isn't strong enough of a word for how bad Sporting are away from home.

I know this. But from what i've seen and heard Clichy's right-foot isn't that strong anymore because of his constant use of the left one. In fact...at LB he has often looked pretty one-footed to me.

But i guess Mancini knows best.

We need at least one of lescott and Kompany to be safe for the league at all times! play both and both get injured we are fucked.
