There's a HUGE gap between the strikers and the midfield. They're fucked if Modric goes. It doesn't help that Defoe is so hot and cold.

Come to think of it, Defoe really doesn't suit playing with Wingers, he'd fit our style of play better, if you're going with wingers Pavyluchenko, Crouch or even Forlan are better options.
