Spurs 08-09 pre tax profits:£33.4m. When City's report due?

Just seen that Spurs made a pre tax profit of £33.4m.

Kudos to them, behind us I would like them to do well. The Spurs fans that I have met have all wished us well so no need for me to hate on them :)

Not expecting much from our Report but it would be interesting to see how we did.

Correct.....its only the tax man and Customs and excise that we are obliged to show our accounts to.

Do the FA have a right to see our accounts ? .............anyone know the Prem rule on this ?

No, the FA have no right to see our books currently.

Platini is pushing this law but I don't think it's been implemeneted yet.

We only have to show to Inland Revenue and HM Customs and Excise.

Firstly, that £33.4m is after player trading profits of something like £56m. So they have presumably operated at a loss once you knock that off (not seen the full accounts).

Regardless of whether they are public or private, City still have to file their accounts publicly with Companies House, as does every other limited company. The difference is that publicly quoted companies have to do it within 6 months of their year end whereas private ones have 9 months. So City's accounts to 31 May 2009 should be available no later than March 2010.
