I’m not sure if it’s been said yet, as I’ve only read about 10 of the 50 odd pages, but not only was that our first goal there (I know, I know), but that’s the first game this season in which they’ve failed to score! And, having only had 1 shot on target, that’s a good thing!!

Absolutely magnificent performance all around, with the exception of Gvardiol’s inside passing and Doku’s cameo.

Thought we were playing with fire a little when under the cosh in the second half, but for 70 of the 90 minutes we not only dominated, but moved the ball around extremely well.

Really happy to see the best invisible man in English football get the goal and MOTM, as he has been superb for us this season.

With the injured players starting to come back, it looks like we might be hitting our stride at the perfect time. Given there is going to be an almighty love fest for Klopp & the Dippers for the rest of the season, we really need to go on a run and not give them an inch. It’s already bad enough that teams roll over for them, whereas the play their Cup Final against us, but with Klopp added to the 115 Hate Campaign against us, it’s going to have to be a siege mentality until it’s done!

The ITV coverage pre match regarding our magnificent support , 9000 travelling 200 miles on a Friday evening. Not one image was shown or mentioned . Contrast the coverage for Sunderland v Newcastle Derby where the 6000 'magificent' Newcastle fans were highlighted several times ....travelling for all of 13 miles .

If anyone still thinks they don’t hate us they are fucking desperately deluded

The camera kept moving round the Spurs fans at the start, one stand to the next, not one shot of the City fans. Even when we scored they hid the City fans away. Maybe I'm just paranoid that everyone's against City, or just maybe they actually are

Definitely highlighted the Poznan and the 9,000 fans on ESPN+ in the States, even commenting on how loud they were.

However, I didn’t know it was a 3 tier Poznan until I saw the video on X.

Was the stadium bouncing? I remember when they put Bayern Fans in the Upper Tier of the East Stand and that tier was “flexing” to the point that if I’d been under it, i’d have moved!! It was clearly visible to the naked eye!!

Big shout out to all 9,000 of you!!

That was down to us making them look shite.

We restricted their attacks that is true (we do this with everyone which makes us a great team), however even when they won the ball they created the sweet sum of fuck all. I expected more of them. Their fans knew it too, I thought they were cardboard cutouts until about 25mins into the game.

I’m ashamed of myself for being happy with a 0-0 and replay prior to the game, we should have won 5-0.

Spurs were shite.

City were so wasteful in front of goal. Should have won by 2 or 3 but kept going and won it at the death.

My biggest concern all season is that we have struggled to score against teams we'd have blown away in recent years. - And we often managed decent win when Sergio was injured so it's not just down to Haaland being out.

Stood up or not, that’s awful. People stand up at regular points during the game. Your view shouldn’t be impaired every time you have to stand.

Foden's shot probably would have gone on if Bobb hadn't poked it in - after Vicario blocked it, it was rolling back towards the line and Vicario was struggling to get back.

Yip, I was freeze framing it live to work out the offside decision at the time to post a pic for the match thread.

The ball was spinning towards the net, the GK tried to scoop it with his hand but missed completely, then Bobb tapped it instead of leaving the ball alone.

Two things I wish I’d caught on camera.

Just before the game the copper’s face in the concourse bar behind 421 as everyone joined in with song after song, he loved it.

And the female steward in block 423 joining in the Poznan. So funny.
