I wasn't looking forward to it, as I'm on the cup scheme, and midweek trips are a pain in the arse from 170 miles away.I wasn't looking forward to a replay to clog up our calendar.
I think the fear is already their amongst the media and opposition fans to be honest. They know fine well that this City side can go on and win all the competitions again...It’s sort of become a desperation with the media hoping the opposition beat City,I’ll tell you what there will be a real real fear if we are still involved in the three competitions come say April ..
That was quite funny, yet Doku got booked ?Loved watching Doku repeatedly flick the ball off Porro for corners - he couldn't handle the humiliation.
I agree. AP is a very likeable honest guy - top bloke - tells it like it is - totally honest.Postecoglou's interview after the match gave us credit. He could easily have whinged about our goal, said they were matching us until the goal, etc etc but he was honest and gave us credit and said we were too much of a test for them. He doesn't fit in at Spurs and deserves to manage a team ran by a decent Chairman, with decent players and decent fans.
Porro really thinks he's somethingLoved watching Doku repeatedly flick the ball off Porro for corners - he couldn't handle the humiliation.
I take it back. Can't believe he was hanging out the back of natalie sawyer.
Perfect woman.
That bit he was very good at.Loved watching Doku repeatedly flick the ball off Porro for corners - he couldn't handle the humiliation.
Stop it. One of the commentators said there had already been goals like that given. If anything they wanted it to be a goal. McCoist even said he thought the goalkeeper was at fault.Just thinking about the goal again and the scrutiny from VAR and then itv after it was given,if that’s spurs who scored you can bet itv would have said no it’s a goal for sure no foul or interference on goalie ..
Ake is foot perfect game after game. Just doesn't make mistakes at all - underrated on the ball.Pre Christmas, I felt City looked sluggish, maybe a hangover from the Treble.
But tonight, THAT is the Man City we all know.
Quick, Zipping passes, movement, passion...all on display tonight.
Arguably the best all-round performance of the season for me. And predominantly without our two main men.
Thought Kovacic had his best game in blue as well.
Nathan Ake...man just gets better and better
That's why we're desperate for Haaland to get back, I love Alvarez works his arse off, but he's very little threat in the oppositions box at presentOverall a disappointing performance where we totally dominated were robbed of a goal but then allowed them back in the game without really threatening to score. Good result but lacked a cutting edge.
Some rusty performances I thought from Rodri and Bernardo
Not how I saw it, we dominated and fully deserved the win, I thought we largely battered them.Overall a disappointing performance
