City were so wasteful in front of goal. Should have won by 2 or 3 but kept going and won it at the death.

Can't believe how long it took VAR to allow Ake's goal. Clear goal but they tried their best to deny it.

Worth giving some recognition to the set piece coach after all the praise our ex one is getting at arsenal and the criticism our new one has had off the back of it. Identified a weakness, repeatedly tried to exploit it all game in a complete contrast to our usual preference for a short corner and it's got us the goal that's broken the curse and kept us in the cup. Itv owe him about 8 solid minutes of tv close ups.

That must be 1 goal in about 100 corners, lol

not sure if the goal would have counted ouside the uk (CL for instance)...normally the refs are way more favourable towards the GK in the six yard box if there is contact (outside is fair game)...if someone attacked our GK the same way i would say it`s a foul

If you jump over another players back anywhere on the pitch we all accept it’s a foul. So tell me why spurs want our goal disallowed for their keeper doing that and still managing to touch the ball. If anything he has impeded Dias?!

Good in possession and made decent driving runs through midfield and I agree it was his best game for us. Whereas I thought Doku was rather poor tonight and looked like he was wearing ice skates

But the keeper was constantly pushing Dias prior to the corner coming over

Whilst I also often have the impression we don't do particularly well from setpieces, the stats will say otherwise, were right up there on goals from them.

it’s mad considering most of us if we’re honest initially thought he wasn’t at our level on first arrival and now he’s a shoe in for most of us due to his ability, class and consistency, Ake is absolutely top class.

I was always in the 'Looks a good buy' camp. Likewise, I was massively impressed with Rodri from day one - always well in the 90 per cents for pass completion. Ake is a superb player.
