Josko held it together for us in the first half. Ortega was immense and kept us in the game.

Got there in the end after a stuttering first half and a few vital saves from our keepers. On to the Etihad and hopefully 4 in a row, is that a quad, somebody check with the dippers.

Also, I know it's the matchday thread and all that but why were some on there querying Doku coming on, we needed an outlet and it worked well.

Agreed... everyone was knackered... perfect time for a young tricky player to set the cat amongst the pigeons (chickens!)

Tension eh, we looked done at 80mins and I was certain Spurs would score. I reckon Ederson will wake up tomorrow with a face like school mashed potato, lumps everywhere

I didn't think so. They had a bit of a spell which you expect any game but Akanji slip aside, I thought we dealt with it really well. I was more nervous at 0-0, once we had scored I was a lot more settled.

My view as well Ederson is great but Ortega edges it in the keeping department.

I’ve had to apologise to Mrs H for my colourful language during the match, I was so wound up and nervous. Just had two beers to calm down, Gin next then hopefully a good kip because I didn’t sleep well last night, just like our Kyle.

Yes, I would have like to have seen Doku on earlier. I thought we looked unbalanced and nothing to challenge them on that side.

Crazy game. But we were rock solid and had the heart of the champions!

Ederson great performance, had to be red that awful mistimed tackle.
Ortega... oh Ortega I love you!
Walker brilliant, covered everything behind.
Dias very solid but with some bad mistakes and bad passes.
Akanji brilliant, that awful mistake was his only mistake I think.
Gvardiol excellent overall with many good plays and defense but with many wrong passes also.
Rodri mediocre to bad, like a duck out of its water, many wrong passes and controls and seemed to be very nervous.
KDB horrible, with countless bad passes and balls.
Kovacic good enough but could not play to his recent standards.
Silva excellent he was everywhere both defense and offense.
Foden very good overall, but with many bad passes at 1st half.
Haaland it's like he didn't play whole game but it was not his fault as no balls came to him, and he scored 2 goals so he did his job as the main attacker.
Doku very positive, helped a whole lot in keeping the ball in the end of the game and had that great move winning the penalty.

And now? It's not over, nothing is over, we must WIN next game by all means.
Have a good rest and prepare for a CL final. Give everything you have and WIN. I'm sure magical Pep will have that attitude.
Hope KDB and Ederson are fine.
Good thing is KDB and Rodri, as also City, can't play any more worse than today so that gives me some optimism.
