He was pretty shit for our goal. He was favorite to win that ball. Foden did fantastically well but Romero should have won that or at least conceded a throw

That was Bentancur once Foden has the ball already. This was Romero a few seconds earlier.

Fair enough. I don't think he was close to influential as he can be and the miss in the first half was a bad one. Still. Have it at my friend

It was not a bad miss. It was an extremely difficult ball to watch,let it bounce get a shot away on the half volley, on target with a keeper rushing out at you and a defender on your toes...all in a blink of an eye.
Not as easy as it looked,imo.

I agree that he was not as influential as he can be, but the whole side struggled for fluidity and cohesiveness in the face of spurs packed midfield tactics,....sometimes in a match you just have to keep going, believe in your quality, don't let your head drop and wait for that chance..which he did brilliantly later with the ball,almost nonchalant pass out to Doku.....that's real class.,in the heat of the battle to have the awareness to spot your team mate..on the other side of the pitch,and set him up into a one against one situation ..absolute class.imo..

I know it’s not quite right but I love games like this. All on the line, City desperate to win, playing as one and thankfully coming through.

I love it too. Shows who has the mettle ,and can be calm..assured.

People saying we played badly, we were kicked off the park, they should have had at least 4 yellows for fouls where he waived play on and did not go back, that tackle on Kev should have been a red, we got nothing from the ref and managed to beat a team who were up for it at a ground we have not done well on, so I say we played pretty fucking good

a proper hard,old school away performance at a top teams venue.
And the points come home to Manchester.Every player did their bit.
Stood up to them. Didn't lose our cool. No histrionics.

There was a period around the 78 min when Spurs were still very much in the game where something changed and we had a very important spell of possession that killed their momentum. It was brilliant from City and gave us back control. Thought Rodri was at the center of it all and was absolute class.
