Spurs (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Let's talk about handball. I thought Haaland hand balled it, pretty sure the ref blew for Haaland handball and it clearly showed the Spurs player handballed it. Then there was a second handball incident, which was inconclusive; but I am pretty sure the whistle was for the first. Discuss......

That ghastly VAR call at the end kinda ruined my mood a bit.

Will always take a win away at Tottenham. Brilliant 1st half, terrible second half.

Doku and Khusanov were great. Fucking refs took away a Haaland brace.

Why wasn't there a review for handball on Spurs?

If the ref really didn't allow the goal on the pitch then I get - even if I disagree with - VAR not upending that decision. But if there wasn't a goal on the pitch, don't you have to review the Spurs repeatedly handling the ball in the same sequence?

Get in, superb result that. Best thing about that, was the lads were able to battle through to the end. Khus was immense and is proving to be a brilliant signing. Buzzing!
On a sidenote, the match day forum was a disgrace tonight. Some horrible comments about players.

So did the ref originally give handball for the goal? If so, I can see why VAR didn't overturn it. There was no conclusive evidence to confirm the opposite.
