Spurs (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Let's talk about handball. I thought Haaland hand balled it, pretty sure the ref blew for Haaland handball and it clearly showed the Spurs player handballed it. Then there was a second handball incident, which was inconclusive; but I am pretty sure the whistle was for the first. Discuss......

If the ref blew for any handball it should have been a pen as the Spurs players handled it first. Var could t tell conclusively whether Erling handled the ball so how the fuck could the referee ? Bent as fuck.

In the second half we were shit. But the first half was not bad, we should have scored three goals there.

That's how VAR and refs collaborate to try and manipulate results. The ref doesn't blow and that goal is given. He blows and they forensicly analyse the decision to go against us and side with the referee.

If that is the scousers or Arsenal or United. The ref blows and they send him to the monitor. Simple as that.

Brilliant result. We were so wasteful especially Savinho. Then there was way too much space in the 2nd half and a better team would have punished us. Doku and Khush were great.

Really nice to see all the players giving Khusanov a pat on the back and nice to see him smiling. He is going to be absolutely immense once he properly settles, already looks a different player to his debut game and even that wasn’t bad bar the first 5 minutes.

Looks the sort of player that might need an arm round him, at 20 years old, foreign country and the pressure - but it looks like the team know that. Deserved MOTM tonight, looked mature beyond his years.

Good win we needed that great save by ederson aswell from that son shot khusanov my motm was class

Var wtf was that at the end of the game was a goal that the ref pretending he saw a handball he didn't and var shows the only players who handball it was 2 spurs players so that = no goal for city cheats

These fuckers are going to give me a heart attack.
That game should have been over at half time.
Played well overall and definitely a game we could have lost.
Nunes pretty good for all the criticism he gets on this forum.
Kushanov man of the match for me.
He’s already making a huge difference to our defence.
