Very pleased for Khusanov. After that debut mistake which ended up costing us nothing, he's proving to be a special player. His reading of the game is superb, and his timing of challenges equally impressive.

Joke of a decision at the end, how on earth has the referee seen a handball in that coming together
He didn't, he's been influenced by someone or something. Useless throughout the game and that farce at the end summed up his bent performance.

It was the safest way to disallow the goal, since he could not be proven wrong, that's why. He wanted to disallow it if there was any way possible.
Exactly this anyone else and they give the goal then hand it to VAR this twat knew exactly what he was doing

Just watched it back. Ref gave the goal so what the fuck is going on?

surely we can make top 4 now

Home games against Brighton, Leicester, Palace, Villa, Wolves, Bournemouth

Away we are shit but its United, Everton, Southampton, Fulham

thats about as easy as you could hope for
Forest A as well

yeah starting to really love this guy.

that was the ref’s fault… how can he bloody see a handball in that?

That’s sent up as a disallowed goal so VAR has to find conclusive evidence that there was no handball, which there wasn’t any.

The ref should not have disallowed the goal, then VAR just has to find conclusive evidence that there was a handball, which there wasn’t so the goal would have stood.

It's a fucking terrible call. He made no decision on the pitch and didn't blow the whistle while the ball was in play. Therefore he should be going to VAR and asking should I disallow this goal. Absolute bullshit
Great post and shows why VAR is fucked as it is. That was a perfect situation where VAR could be awesome. The ref gives the goal and then asks VAR is there any reason why it isn't (a la rugby league). A VAR system like that becomes a tool for the refs to make better decisions
