Spurs (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

we are being told that he didnt give it which is weird because city celebrate for at least 30 seconds
Looks like he blew after about 20 seconds, which means that he was told from off pitch.

No question in it for me, VAR gave orders and tried to find a way not to give it. Found inconclusive evidence and still didn’t give it.

Just another show that the cartel are running the show.

First half very good, second half very average but whisper it quietly, the reset is looking promising. More time in between games now no CL or a Caraboa final means more time to bed in players. More energy around the park, better understanding between new and old players, it’s looking good. Four or five top class players in the summer still needed. Need to keep going as I reckon we might need 72 points to finish top 4 so another eight wins plus a draw.

Just watched it back. Ref gave the goal so what the fuck is going on?

No he didn’t. He blows his whistle a few seconds after the goal while Haaland is running away and clearly disallows it as the spurs fans all start cheering.

Got to remember that this is our level now. We are not the team from 1/2 seasons ago. Plus a very young first 11 with not much experience playing together so I think expectations may need to be adjusted a little with a sprinkling of patience. 2nd youngest team ever in Pl apparently.
Very fair comments. I will take some solace from that.

In the first half I’d visions of Sterling and Sane around about 2018 with our two wingers. Some of their play was outstanding, just need to work on the final touch or final decision.
Some good play in the 1st half from both, Savinho's miss aside, but Doku was just pure lazy in the 2nd. Don't understand why he was kept on so long or how he was given MoM.
