You've missed of Eileen Drury's mate, Glenda Hoddle.

Well for once we didn't seem to do much wrong tonight, and grittily held on for all three points .... we probably should have been three of four goals up at half time, but didn't take our chances, although thankfully we did manage to take the one that counted.

Life is always better when you've won .... but Spurs could easily have spoilt our party by nicking a second half equaliser though ... fortunately for us .. they didn't!

Very promising performance. Being out of Europe will allow more coaching and new players to integrate swiftly. I am happier now than at any time over the past few months as I can see a real direction for the future. Add this to the excellent performances of our academy teams and the future is looking sky blue.

Have you been on the pop?
No. I was merely trying to help you see how referees and VAR come to their decisions.

Most have some element of subjectivity and not all fans will agree with them, like in this instance.

The referee probably shouldn’t have whistled for the handball, but we don’t know what he saw or thought happened.

great result but still not a great overall performance....

Savihnio again needs to improve....great individual skill but he needs to become a serious footballer.....he needs to work on his finishing and his work rate.
Marmoush good in flashes but again istn aplying himself at 100% and this is what is expected - gave up after not getting the press right at times, losing the ball too easily

On the other hand Khusonov - fantastic.....for someone so young coming into a high pressure league but in the position he is playing shows huge character. He has baring a few minutes in his fist game been probably our stand out performer.
Doku - people doubt him and he does need to add that extra bit of quality at times but he is such a brave player - he never hides, keeps playing right to the end and is giving everything

Ederson - saved us the points with that save from Son - his shot stopping has improved

Gvardiol looks like he is running on fumes...we are putting him at risk of injury at present but he played well

We are capable of moments of brilliant at present but we arent controling games - Kovacic is such a frustrating player - he is a senior player but plays so nievely at times....diving in, getting caught out fo postion and running around like a headless chicken.
Nunes was fine but ultimately not a city player...the first half shows this and Pep was fuming with him at half time.
So, Kova is the only real problem on pitch? Take him off and see what happens. Headless chickens must have done something bad to you before mate. Defending midfielders are to be tricked and chasing dust most of time to relieve the pressure for back line.

Got to remember that this is our level now. We are not the team from 1/2 seasons ago. Plus a very young first 11 with not much experience playing together so I think expectations may need to be adjusted a little with a sprinkling of patience. 2nd youngest team ever in Pl apparently.
Good post that.

Fuck off 1981..I was 10 and cried like fuck when they beat us.I hate Spurs.
It still hurts! I'll never forget that Thursday night at and outside Wembley. The fighting with spurs fans everywhere. Getting home late morning on the Friday abd the feeling of utter despair when my Mam woke me up for school. I just turned over and said i'll go in at dinner time.

Good first half performance, we looked a little more cohesive and quicker than we have of late. With better finishing the game should have been put to bed by half time. Doku and Savinho need to spend a few weeks on shooting practice.
Second half was a different game, again. We rode our luck at times, luckily their finishing was even worse than ours. I thought the changes should have been made about 10-15 mins earlier and Savinho and not Nico should have gone.
I liked a younger faster team though.
It wasn't handball, bloody spurs and handballs.
If you’d have said 6 points and 2 clean sheets from the last 3 tough games I’d be pretty happy.
It’s the business end of the season and results are ehss as t counts and Top 4 is so important.
Being in the CL is an enabler for continued growth. Just look at Villa / came 4th and now either every chance of last 8 CL,

Just imaging your the real David silva. Merlin at home in his white underpants watching city then hopping onto bluemoon post match thread really made me laugh. If it is really you I love you.
I know I would if I was a retired player. Probably not healthy, mind, if you are still playing
