Can’t we play more direct with pace intent and with intense?

I posted yesterday after the Chelsea come back I said the premier league is changing referees have changed to! teams are crossing from all angles into the box with 3/4 players in there being in your face playing man on man!
 
First half wasn’t great, instead of our slow, slow-slow,slow,slow tempo we should have put the game out of sight….. but dear, God, that 2nd half performance, complacent?…..entitled?. Make ‘em travel home on National Express.
 
Some walk out from the Spurs fans that, more walk out at the etihad in the 75 minute.

I've give up trying to work this out, it feels like we have so many that go missing for large parts of the game.
 
Something rotten behind the scenes,how are these performances second half in games just continuing every game,the mentality as well has gone to shit,get the feeling some players when they sign think they have made it and don’t need to put in the hard yards,some is the hunger and desire there for them now,the club was always on an upward trajectory moving forward but it just seems we are stale as fuck besides signing a few players to freshen it up ..
 
Sorry but this has to be Peps last season with us. Love the guy but he is yesterday’s man and has no answers to the modern game anymore. How often to the opposition change things at half time and he has no answers and we produce a pathetic second half performance. He keeps throwing hundreds of millions at it but refuses to change the tactics that are not working and we look very badly coached these days.

The corrupt Jarrod Gillet should never officiate a game of ours again. There is enough clear evidence including lots today that he has an agenda.

But we need to start planning now for next season without Pep. We are not winning the PL, we won’t get much further in the CL so new ideas and a way of playing instead of pointless slow sideway passes is needed. Either utilise our lazy arse star striker, who would get bullied by Peter Dinklage these days or don’t play him, as stm it’s like starting with 10 and he has lost the ability of scoring.

Bit surprised how poor Semenyo was 1v1. Should have been fresh and taking people on with more effectiveness. Felt again like Pep was slow with subs. I don't really know what else to say. Lot of weird stuff going against City and players aren't good enough to deal with it.
 
Yet again another appalling second half performance which is happening all too often. The defence excluding Khushanov just went to pieces in that second half, we are just a soft touch at the moment. What is really galling is we were playing a injury depleted shit Spurs team but could still not win. Tbh even if we had won I didn't think we would win the title, but the Dippers will rip us apart next week if we play like that second half shit show.
 
I don’t even blame the back four! No midfield kills us rodri wants out he desperate for a red again! He knows peps off I don’t think many managers would have drew that game today 2-0 up at half time against one of the worst spurs teams ever!

We weren’t great but we are entitled to have the game reffed properly and if it was we could have won

I don’t think there were many who really thought we’d win the league. The hardest thing at the moment is we’re going backwards as a side, not forwards.

That second half was an absolute shambles from the moment it started. Five minutes into that second half you could tell it was like the players had just downed tools for the half thinking it was won. Not sure if it’s Pep or the players or a mix of both, but that second half was just atrocious.
 
Pitiful!

Heard the commentator say we've gone 3 successive league games without a shot on target in the second half. If that doesn't highlight our woeful mentality nothing does. This isn't a team of winners, too many pass the buck when we need somebody to step forward. Where's our kdb, or our yaya to win us games that are either tight or we're dogshit in? Haaland is the only one but he can't do it without some supply.

We spent most of the injury time passing along the backline instead of you know, actually getting the ball into positions we might possibly have a shot from.

That was a decimated Spurs team who were done at halftime and we managed to let them back in and look like the team with fight in them when any other competent premier league side stick 6 past them as a minimum. They didnt have any of their best back 5 on the pitch second half and we didnt manage to have a shot on target. It cannot be explained how utterly shite you have to be to do that.
