Spurs (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Haaland is the worst for it, walking around like an absolute donkey, smiling when we are drawing the game from being 2 nil up, no aggression whatsoever, an absolute passenger, don’t care if I get grief for this comment he was absolute shit
I agree with you. He's a poor footballer. Magnificent goalscorer when on form. But today he's a passenger. Semenyo wasn't at his best either.

The first half was like a lock down match, the crowd was so quiet. The second half we decided to stop playing yet again, and gave the home crowd something to cheer about with two sloppy goals given away. We could easily have lost that match had it not been for Donnarumma.
O'Reilly and Nouri were very poor, and Haaland didn't look interested.

I noticed they didn't show us a replay of when the ball was actually played (If one actually exists), but even still, they've admitted it's a foul "before" the corner was taken, retake the corner then
Yep

Again making shit up

Next weekend Slot should just park 10 behind the ball in the first half and then move all ten into our penalty area in the second. It’ll be 0-0 at half time but the scousers will win 8-0.
Think we’ll play like against Bodo Glimt, after it was so successful at Old Trafford

Pep's at fault again ?
You are allowed time to go and support a political cause, which tells me you're not fully here for the fight
Look, if you are leaving, just come out and say so because the team is speaking for you by giving up and waving the white flags and walking around clueless

Haaland is a major problem right now, NOT A SINGLE SHOT AT GOAL, walking, pointing, smiling, looking like a joke of the old Haaland
Bollocks

this ha nothing to do with Peps politics or whatever...these performances have been there ALL season.

And if you care more about football than kids being killed you need to check your head (and that goes for any side of the conflict)

We haven't got the energy or mentality to negate shit/bent officiating. It's like playing in leg irons at times. Ever since he played on for Cherki's goal he went into reverse and started giving Spurs every 50/50.

Their first goal is a clear foul. SWP is calling it out in the post match discussion on the City OS.

Never underestimate the effect of that kind of officiating has on both teams.

The PiGMOL also need to sort out what constitutes a foul at corners. Claiming Haaland was "fouled before the ball was in play, so it doesn't count", but then it meant he wasn't in position to attack the ball when the corner was taken is absolute fucking BULLSHIT. The foul had a direct influence on the play.

Yet another struggling team that we should be putting to the sword that ends up having their game of the season and scoring the greatest goal ever seen by a spud. I am starting to dread half time. What happens? What does Pep say? We seem to come out after half time, look like we are running on empty and in mud, we lose our shape and struggle. Obviously if a team runs at us and puts balls over the top we can't cope anymore, but going forwards we just look all out of sorts, unbalanced.

we dont have the energy or athleticism the old sideh had to press for 70-80 mins and batter teams.

today - 2nd half starts and haaland, Cherki, bernardo are all running out of steam just invites the counter

Super first half but again we totally run out of steam second half so a good point against a team we really struggle against. Would have taken a point before the game but to have such an amazing advantage then throw it away is so frustrating.

Exactly what we’ve come to expect from this group of players - practically every 2nd half performance is like that. We only win if Donnarumma happens to save everything. Doesn’t change anything really. We weren’t good enough to finish 1st before the game and we’re still not good enough now. If Newcastle score first, we’re in big trouble in the Carabao Cup too.
