Spurs (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Load of old bobbins,
City being typical City of old, Spurs being reverse Spursy

Facking Norf Lahdaaahn Wankers, gertcha !

Pep II did the press conference very well.

Spurs spent almost the entire game massed in defence. Haaland was bottled up but he did come deeper and bring others into the game. Reijnders went very close from one of his lay offs.

Haaland's not on form is fair comment but I would not say he is a major problem.

It's a major problem
Haaland is not bothered, the whole team is not bothered, Pep is not bothered, ITS A FUCKING MAJOR PROBLEM

In all seriousness, the whole club is flat trying to change so many players. If this wasn’t pep, fans would be looking the manager sacked.

The attitude is all wrong. Need to own that first and foremost. Who is gonna come out and apologise today?

Any refunds?

Khaldoon to pep to the players. The edge is gone. That extra 1% is missing in games. We look and play awful. Some good moments now and again. Overall, major questions need asked as to why we have lost that competitive edge.

We have won it all and made huge commercial strides. The pig is too fat now to go again. That what it feels like.

And we’ll see it on every corner now just put him to the floor before the ball is kicked and all will be ok absolutely fucking disgraceful!
So if Rodri headbutts a player before a throw in is took he should be OK.
Yeah right.
They invent rules every week at our expense.
Fuck VAR
Fuck Gary Neville
Fuck Howard bastard Webb
Fuck the charges
Fuck football

Ive said this before after the Sunderland game Pep didnt seem to like the flair and tricks the lads were doing.
Today it seemed Pep had another go at Cherki on the sideline.
Could the players be bored of his regimental style, he gets them in at half time and bollocks them for being entertaining and trying things. The players come out second half pissed off.

Just a thought

Pitiful!

Heard the commentator say we've gone 3 successive league games without a shot on target in the second half. If that doesn't highlight our woeful mentality nothing does. This isn't a team of winners, too many pass the buck when we need somebody to step forward. Where's our kdb, or our yaya to win us games that are either tight or we're dogshit in? Haaland is the only one but he can't do it without some supply.

We spent most of the injury time passing along the backline instead of you know, actually getting the ball into positions we might possibly have a shot from.

That was a decimated Spurs team who were done at halftime and we managed to let them back in and look like the team with fight in them when any other competent premier league side stick 6 past them as a minimum. They didnt have any of their best back 5 on the pitch second half and we didnt manage to have a shot on target. It cannot be explained how utterly shite you have to be to do that.
But if any of our players try something different something out of the ordinary to win a game they’re shouted down by the manager and it’s back to crab football!

We’re better than Arsenal man for man. Arteta plays a boring style of football to get the maximum from his side which is why they’ll win the league this season.

We’re in denial about the football we play and seem unable to accept we’re equally as boring as Arsenal. Yet we play a style that limits our best players.
We are not better than Arsenal man for man

Txiki didn’t see the need for change soon enough and he failed to see how the game was going towards a more physical and transitional way of playing. So we adapted too slowly and have been left with a lot of players who physically just aren’t up to the way the game is played.

So why is Pep allowing it to happen ? Pep of old would be smashing the dressing room up and giving the players the hairdryer, Pep is in the final stages of his days at Manchester City and the players have given up

I think it's coming this week ? Pep is to leave in the summer

He did have a look of resignation after the game, and his players knew they'd just wilted like a bunch of tired pansies and blown the match points yet again .....

If it’s any consolation (which it won’t be), twas an absolutely brilliant afternoon at the Etihad today (even with the empty seats …) which saw our women smash Chelsea to open up a 12 point lead over them and 11 points over united.

Really hope we can get that long overdue title heading our way this season :-)

An absolutely unforgivable performance. The first half we somehow found ourselves 2-0 up in spite of strolling about at half pace against a Spurs team totally devoid of confidence and missing something like 12 players. They were terrified of getting a battering but instead of going for the kill we just walked about with aimless nothing passes.
Now everyone knew what was going to happen in the second half once we didn't kill the game off and sure enough it did.
We have too many weak players, mentally and physically, which is a worry as we've bought a few of them for big money.
I have no idea what's happened to Haaland but it's like playing with ten men atm with him in the side. I'm sick of hearing about service to him he needs to do more himself.
That's the title challenge over, to be honest I'm not sure how we were ever in one given our form this season. Arsenal don't have to win it they're had no real challengers.
Im dreading the Liverpool game, i fear we could get a hiding there. Also Newcastle must have watched that game and thought " We'll turn this lot around on Wednesday."
A thoroughly depressing game and weekend.
Bang on and the worst thing is out of what you're wrote (which is spot on) is that it was so entirely predictable, just like other games.
To be honest im sick and tired of the mental weakness shown.

It's a major problem
Haaland is not bothered, the whole team is not bothered, Pep is not bothered, ITS A FUCKING MAJOR PROBLEM
That’s it mate. Apathy, no one could be arsed and it shows every single game.

Bode
Spurs.

It won’t end until a ruthless approach is taken.

And that's it. The world class players we had where time catches up with them, it's so difficult to replace these players with similar qualities. We've been blessed the last few years with an incredible squad of players. These are good at times but no where near the quality.

Pep will not be here next season and the new manager will need to sort out the mess
