Spurs (a) - Post Match Thread

Ok maybe it was an exaggeration putting it in those words and the vast majority of us disagree completely with them. But some consistently doubt his whole philosophy and his ability as a coach at the first signs of difficulty especially when we lose. "Peps been found out by Klopp" or "Pep wont be able to deliver the CL like our owners want" and so on seems to me to be questioning whether we do want to keep him as our coach for as long as possible.

Perhaps they are rags hoping Pep leaves when you put it that way though. :)

All this is your opinion. The only places such sentiments have been aired is in the media - or on scum website - both of whom want to undermine us. When you say the above highlighted quote - who the f**** are you talking about??? Certainly with what we’ve achieved & how we’ve achieved it - no City fan would entertain such thoughts. On the contrary, we are more convinced that the 3 results that went against us were mainly down to bad refereeing decisions.

So please, move on.

I do hope sterling continues to work on his finishing. Yes 22 goals now, but how many tap ins, how many scuff shots. He is just not a natural finisher and in the decisive moments, we’ll need one.

Anyone else concerned that he’s heading into his final two years, given how young he is?

Raheem Sterling..TOP OF THE LEAGUE...........

As Cheesy said the one word that sums us up from last night's game is Character.
The lads must have been a bit down after last few games and then to concede just before half-time was a kick in the bollocks.
Yet we didn't implode even though the commentators were willing it to happen.
Great leadership from Vinnie and Delph was fantastic too
Gotta love Raz ..he might miss a few but he runs his socks off and caused them so many problems.
Kev makes unbelievable passes look normal and Merlin was on top form first half.
Laporte looking better and Eddie's coolness on the ball is great, plus that goalkick that almost got Raz through was fantastic.
Walker didn't let the booing affect him and Gundo had a top game and took his penalty so well.
Gabby ran them ragged at times and took his goal well.
Bernie looks some player too..overall a great result and 3 points away from the title...oh dear what will the media say now
