Spurs (A) Post Match Thread

Was it Mahrez who took that corner that led to Zinchenko being sent off? it Was shite

Gundogan pussied out of pulling them back at the halfway line leaving Zinchenko being the one who had to do it

Sterling’s pass to Gundogan for the open net was dreadful. Aguero missed an absolute sitter

Just wish we we would stop fucking around with the the team every week and drop the players who have been crap for weeks. At no point should Bernardo ever be on the bench and should always be in the middle with Kev. Then it’s a choice between Rodri or Gundogan, never both.

Sterling needs dropping for a few games and give Jesus a deserved start.
He didn't 'have' to do anything. He could have easily kept pace with Winks who isn't known for his speed and finishing.

I’m still not sure why he got a foul given against him, let alone a second yellow and sent off. The game has become too precious. It was a shoulder charge, plain and simple. We are losing the essence of the physical aspects of the game.

The staggering thing for me is how long it took to decide that it was a foul on Sergio, nearly 2 minutes whilst the game continued, this 2 minutes was included in the time added-on. So, for 2 minutes the game was dead, this is nonsense as any goal scored during that time would have been disallowed, image that! Image also a player being seriously injured for nothing.

Then the incident with Lloris and Raheem, post the penalty save, didn't seem to warrant forensic examination yet, in a a lot of neutrals view it was more of a penalty than the first one Why?

You wont find one Blue wishing Sterling a serious injury. We are not scousers

You are taking this all out of context.

The "thank fuck " comments are nothing more than relief from some fans, that they wont have to watch his painfully abject performances for a few weeks.

Sterling is probably as relieved as anyone tonight, that he is getting an enforced break.Hopefully he will return rejuvenated and on fire.Pep was killing him.

I wish him well and a speedy return.

Who knows we might smash 6 past Wet Spam at weekend.

Bollocks

One thing criticising performances another showing relief that one of our players is injured

Sterling relieved he is injured!!!

You can roll it back as far as you want, but Zinchenkos decision to take Winks out whilst already on a yellow was his and his alone. It's not often i will single out any player and blame them for losing a team game but fuck me, that cost us the game.
Yeah, you're right, what pissed me off though was that I thought Zinchenko had a good game until then, he'd
been involved in some good defensive work, nicking the ball back, and his overall play was good.

Defensive squad recruitment has been a shambles for years and who ever responsible needs to do one.

Stones, Cancelo, Mendy, Angelino, Danilo.

It's abysmal that we've purchased all of the above for £200m+ and yet none can even be classed as good signings.

De Bruyne is the only one that came out of the game with any credit

We can’t score and can’t defend. Not a good combination
