Shoulder to shoulder isn’t a foul though

In football, a shoulder barge describes the action when a player, who is trying to get to the ball, uses his or her shoulder to push against an opposing player's shoulder – the shoulders touch. ... However, in the laws of the game a shoulder barge, or shouldercharge, is legal.
"who is trying to get to the ball"

There's your answer there, Zinchenko wasn't trying to get to the ball

I think the players are now questioning Pep in their minds and the fact he doesn't seem to have the answers anymore.
I hope he stays but i wouldn't be shocked if Pep went in the summer
His game management the last two times we went down to ten has been shocking.

When you've had the drive of the last 2 seasons where winning a game means you could win the league it's probably hard to maintain that level of competitiveness when winning means you still won't win anything at all.

Add the drain last season must if taken physically and mentally, injuries and var decisions and this is what you're left with as a team mentality I reckon.
Fair enough but using that reasoning it should be easier to stick the ball in the net with no pressure on.

On another day we win 3-0 and everyone is praising the team for a great performance.

We didn't take our chances. That was the only problem

Take your chances! Should and could have been a big City win

Not sure it's wise to make conclusions from a crazy game.

Game after game, the same problems showing themselves. I don’t really know what Pep can do. Those defenders are shocking. The sooner we can clear them all out (Laporte excepted) the better.

Zinchenko showing himself to be as brainless as Otamendi, Mendy and Walker. Gets a yellow for running the length of the pitch to involve himself in an argument. Then makes an idiotic shoulder barge to take away any chance we had of winning the game.

Up front, we’re completely toothless. I cannot fathom how Pep has selected the same front three as he did against United. They’re not taking their chances. We’re by far the most wasteful side in the league. That has to change if we’re going to make a success of next season.

The real issue though is a total failure of upper management. Txiki and the others set us up for failure this season. Ultimately, the majority of the blame lies with them. I have absolutely no confidence that they won’t just squander the transfer budget yet again.

A major inquest is needed at the end of this season.

Predictable today, loads of possession, chances created but not taken, they score with there only shots, Pep messes with the team selection, no consistency, won't drop Gundo.
We should beat Villa at Wembley, any decent side in the fa cup would beat us, if you've booked for Istanbul cancel it and get to Madrid coz that will be our last euro away this season, we are declining at an alarming rate, we've just had a transfer window where we did nowt to strengthen, Pep doesn't look happy and he openly criticises our support.
Typical City.

If they scored from it I would fancy us to pull it back with 11. Difficult situation though.

He could have probably kept up with Winks if he hadn't made the challenge. It wasn't like it was a clear goal scoring chance really. Might have amounted to nothing.
