I watched the replay of the whole Celtic game after missing it live and didn't see where so much worry is coming from. They had an offside goal and a flukey own goal and in the last 20 minutes City were dictating play. At Spurs Pochetino will try to take his lessons from how Celtic pressed and OK when he was at Espanyol he beat Guardiola & Barca with those methods but the quickness and skills of Sterling and Aguero will see City through. City win 2-0.

No doubt Sunday will be very tough and very possibly a little nerve wracking as Bravo and our back four will be constantly harried. Swansea pressed well as did Celtic and yet we missed a loads of chances in both matches, that's before we look at the appoint of poor passes and decisions in the final third in both games. The point is that despite being someway off our best we still managed to create opportunities.

I still think we will create chances against Spurs but we need to be a lot more clinical and our decision making in the final third will have to be much, much better.

Hopefully, certain posters will give spurs a little more respect than they gave Celtic before we faced them.

Easy 7-0 to City this weekend I reckon.

What absolute bollocks, the players couldn't wait to pass the ball and hav a rest against Celtic in the second half, that'll be why in the last half hour Celtic struggled to get out their own half or out of their 18yd box last 15 mins.
You say Pep saw no reason why we couldn't go from win to win,hav I missed something or hav we not won all our league games so far.
If anything you could make a better case for him overestimating the league not underestimating it.
Pep was also spot on about Swansea as the only thing that stopped it being a rout was our wastefulness in good positions.
To finish off you talk about him thinking his system is perfect.
For one he has many systems and I'm sure he doesn't think any of them are perfect but by fuck with fans like you he's up against it.
You've saved me a job. Excellent post.

It made me laugh as well as did the backlash to some of the players!

Wednesday fealt like a derby to me and as such, expected a difficult game. More importantly Pep also expected a tough match which Celtic gave us.

If United were in the bottom division and hadn't beaten us in 10 years, I'd still expect a hard game and wouldn't take anything for granted.

A huge benefit for us is that if a team presses high on the pitch we have three or four of the quickest players in the league in Aguero, Sane, Navas and Sterling to exploit the space in behind.

Should be a great game to be honest and I'm very interested to see how Pep sets up. As has already been mentioned, Jose played a team to try and nullify the invested fullbacks and was a cocky prick in the pre match interview, even saying "let's see them try that in this game". Well Pep didn't, he lined Jose up and did something totally different. United were lost and chasing shadows in the first half as we weren't playing in the way they expected.

I'm hoping for more of the same. I can see a high scoring game in the region of 2:3 or 2:4. But I'd take a draw if offered as we'd still have a point point gap after 7 games.

Tottenham's Eric Dier, Danny Rose, Mousa Dembele and Moussa Sissoko missed the midweek Champions League win at CSKA Moscow but could they be back to face Manchester City on Sunday?

"We are positive but we need to assess all of the players tomorrow to see if they are in a good condition to play," said Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.

They'll all be back Pochettino will want to show how good he is as manager they got so lucky in both games last season, all I ask for is no dodgy decisions.
