Another tough game and without our forwards performing, we are reliant on no mistakes at the back. The delivery seems extremely poor as well from the midfield currently. Jose is the master at parking the bus and I expect a draw.

Aguero not played for weeks. No way could he be considered as being our strongest line up till he has a few games under his belt

The friendly is absolutely ridiculous and teams should not support their players being part of it.
 
Rodri should play. Spurs have a very physically imposing team and given we lack the ability to control games quite like we used to we're going to need to counter their strength.
 
This game is so far away though ... I don't think I hate anything more than the stupid international breaks in football, not even VAR, not even not being able to being there right now ... it's these absolutely useless two week gaps that come far too often just when we get going does my head in.
 
We really need to win this one as our record against the old top 6 has declined this season and last.

In 2017/18 we beat everyone home and away bar our usual defeat in Anfield and the loss at home to united.

In 2018/19 we drew at Anfield and lost to Chelsea but otherwise we won the lot. Last season we lost to united twice, Chelsea once, only took a point against Spurs and won and lost against Liverpool.

This season we’ve already dropped points at home to Liverpool while hearing Arsenal at home.

So far it’s similar enough in Pep’s first season where we only beat united away and Arsenal at home, we had the traditional Anfield defeat and were doubled by Chelsea and well beaten at Spurs, the rest were disappointing draws.
 
Just have to watch out for the constant diving and cheating, Spurs one of the worst for it in the PL

I follow a couple of Spurs fans on Twitter and their assessment of their form in recent weeks hasn't been great. Despite some good additions to the squad they struggle to break teams down and aren't pretty on the eye. I expect we'll see a lot of the ball like last season and the key to our success will lie with our shot conversion and how good or bad we are against counter attacks. If we can create and take our chances I fancy us for this one. Despite the quality of their front three, I don't think they are as good as Liverpool.

Not what I'd choose but what Pep will do

But do you hate it as much as delayed TV game announcements though? ;-)
