Why is Mahrez hated but Bernardo isn‘t? Bernardo is offering nothing. He had 1 good season in 4? Mahrez at least can score which Bernardo doesn‘t. Yeah he Bernardo runs a lot but he is no threat right now - neither in creativity and neither in front of the goal. He plays too vertically.
The tone's unfair, but he kind of has a point under it all.Are you actually taking the piss ?

It's clear to see why Mahrez gets a lot of stick, but in general he does create chances more than most and he's a direct goal threat. His general play is very questionable though.
Bernardo is a great defensive asset. He presses really well from the front and always gets back. But his general play is uninspiring and his direct goal threat is not great, despite the fact he has the ability to be better. But in 3 seasons he's had 1 great one, 1 ok one, and 1 quiet one with the odd good game here and there. There's obviously reasons why Bernardo may have difficulties that plenty have spoken about. I'm extremely hopeful both he and Mahrez can get back to their best.
But I say as one of the 7 out of 72000 members on here who doesn't hate Mahrez, it does seem odd that he gets so much more stick than Bernardo does.
Personally I'd rather neither got the level of vitriol Mahrez gets. I think it's poor form for any City player to be treated that way by his team's fans.
There is three games in two weeks , one a friendly , it is fucking stupid, they wont be rested or uninjuredSaturday 21 November

I think come the end of the season, the Jose's band of Spurs will be challenging for the title more than the Dijk-less Kloppties ... if we’re still there or there abouts come the business end ...
For starters, I just want all our players to come back from the internationals with no injuries and perhaps after having played the least minutes and getting some good rest over these next two weeks.
Not like you like you to have a go at anyone but mahrez, your boy doesnt suit us, he is not a team p!ayer , most of the timeWhy is Mahrez hated but Bernardo isn‘t? Bernardo is offering nothing. Agree 100% Kaz, managers should be kicking more of a stink up about the international fixture list rather than using only three subs. There is three games in two weeks , one a friendly , it is fucking stupid, they wont be rested or uninjured

Go to the Mahrez Thread and see if I never criticized him.
I am just wondering why one - who is creating changes at least is not liked while the other one basically doesn‘t even create - gets a pass for a long time now.
We are 7 games into this season and Bernardo has started only two of them (partly due to injury). In those two, he was excellent against Arsenal and very good against Sheff Utd. So 1 out of 4 is wrong even if for some mad reason you count 7 games as a season.I think if the best you can up with to dispute a guy's point is saying "UH no actually he's not played 4 seasons, he's played 3 seasons and 6 months" then you're struggling.

Bruh is not a term for brother or whatever - more like a Reaction. I already mentioned everything in a previous statement I don’t know why I have to repeat myself ? Bernardo has dropped his performance since that season where he put Sané on bench. And there were several games after that period where Mahrez was definitely better or at least created chances or tried something,She’s not your Bruh ... for starters ...
Re: Mahrez v Bernardo ... Bernardo did enough in one game alone (THAT Liverpool game) that Mahrez hasn’t done in all his time here ... Bernardo was Player of the Season that year as well, Mahrez has (off the top of my head) never been player of a month let alone ... if you really want to critique then maybe quantify what period you’re comparing ... his last two games or four games vs the other ones same period then people might consider ... sweeping statements like that won’t get you anywhere!
and you think Mahrez has been better ? On their day it's not even close. We are 12 games into the season, and the reason he's barely featured is because he's in shit form...and has been for more than a year now.

Hopefully, Kevin will not play tonight, a friendly game.Agree 100% Kaz, managers should be kicking more of a stink up about the international fixture list rather than using only three subs.
We know that Mahrez has talent but where is his heart for the fight. Does he ever win a tackle. He looks afraid to get hurt. We cannot have that in any team, especially ours. We cannot have any passengers, the way we play.Putting in great performances on huge occasions like Bernardo did in 18/19 gets you credit in the bank to a certain extent. His performances at Old Trafford and at home to the dippers amongst others were instrumental in us winning the title. Mahrez hasn't ever given us performances like this, hence the impatience with him compared to Bernardo. We know what Bernardo is capable of and we are all desperate for him to get back there, Mahrez still flatters to deceive more times than not in this his 3rd season with us.
