Bit of a free hit this one. Our squad isn’t big enough to compete on 4 fronts so unfortunately this competition is far from priority this season. Expect plenty of rotation from Pep with a few of the younger lads given a start.

Will be nice to sit back and watch with the pressure off for a change!
I’m breaking down the season. I think we just need to get together January relatively in tact and then make an addition if we need to.

This away run feels big though, going to be really tough.

Can’t see it officially listed, but the next round would likely be in December, the week between us playing that lot and then traveling to Villa, which then leads into the busy Christmas schedule. Given that we are traveling to Turin before hosting that lot, I don’t think many tears will be shed if we drop out now and give ourselves a free week.

It would probably also be in our short-term interests if Liverpool, Arsenal, and Villa all went through this week.

With our squad down to 14/15 we can't afford really to play Haaland Foden Rico Gvardiol Akanji Dias stones Kovacic so who's left to play

The "7 kids" in question:
Iñaki Peña (25) - 100 career appearances
Pau Cubarsí (17) - 37 Barcelona appearances, 4 Spain caps
Alejandro Baldé (21) - 91 Barcelona appearances, 7 Spain caps
Marc Casadó (21) - 83 career appearances
Pedri (21) - 156 Barcelona appearances, 28 Spain caps
Fermín Lopes (21) - 88 career appearances, 2 Spain caps
Lamine Yamal (17) - 65 Barcelona appearances, 17 Spain caps

Hardly the same as throwing in a bunch of debutants from the EDS, is it?

Thanks to whoever trusted them and gave them this amount of games.
