It's getting a joke to be honest..
Its been a joke now for a number of years, working shifts, and weekends, and having to travel, makes it very difficult.

I've all but given up trying to organise work around it, this year I booked the first weekend off thinking we wouldn't be on on Monday night, and ended up having to beg steal and borrow shift changes to allow me to go. There's only so much goodwill available from colleagues.

That's before the shit kick off times at lunchtime, it will be interesting to see how many 3pm kick off's we get this season, we'll probably be able to count them on one hand (again).

Cheers hadn't picked this one up and it wasn't one of those mentioned in the OS news, I was trying to sell our tickets for this one as we are at Wembley for the RLWC semi finals. Now we can get back!

Still can't find any official announcement about this one. In August they just changed the time to 13.30 on the Saturday. I have e mailed supporter services for clarification as this might just be a calendar mistake. It definitely wasn't one of those announced on Monday.

Agreed mate but both the BBC and Citys site saying a 13.30pm Kick off on the Sunday.
Something to do with Chelsea???
I have booked both days off and am waiting for official confirmation.
Feel sorry for people who have to buy flights, trains, hotel rooms etc...

its probably because of the fact that half of the crowd will still be pissed from the night before this way we will be more nervous and they can screw us over..........

or am i being paranoid? lol

What's difficult to grasp. All the Champions League clubs are given 2 days rest.

Sky swapped us with Chelseas live game from 5.30 sat to 1.30 sun as we don't play until the Wednesday but Chelsea play Tuesday.

It's unfair on Chelsea otherwise.
