B & D Silva will start. Sane from the bench. It's the right call I feel.
We will keep possession and build the pressure until we score.
Got to be looking for 3 goals minimum to be sure. We can do that, all things (referee/decisions wise) being equal.

Agree they'll both start but as if we wouldn't still dominate possession tonight anyway with Sane playing.

Ederson
Walker
Kompany
Laporte
Mendy
Fernandinho
De Bruyne
David Silva
Bernardo Silva
Sterling
Aguero

That’s what I think pep will go for.

B Silva for D Silva, and Sane should start to haunt Trippier from the off too. This is not the time to hold fire until it's too late and regret wasted time later though.

I don't think we'll see a City side tonight who go at it like Liverpool, or Spurs in the 1st leg (or even United to an extent against Barca 1st leg) b'cos that's not how City play and not how they've played for 2 seasons or so.

Yes we'll go for the early goal, as we always do, but in our own controlled manner. We'll dictate the pace of the game. I really can't predict how Spurs will play - if i had to guess, they'll be scared of playing hard b'cos we're strong at home so i think they'll go into their shell early on.

I'd say strongest team available but i think Pep might have something up his sleeve....

Hope it’s...
Ederson
Danilo Stones LaPorte Zinchenko
Bernardo Fernandinho KDB
Sterling Aguero Sané

Ederson
Walker Kompany Laporte Mendy
B.Silva Fernandinho KDB
Sterling Aguero Sane

I think D. Silva needs a rest and he has been slightly off recently, Bernardo would have far more impact in the fast game we need to play imo.

I think gundogan will play instead of fernandinho who will be given 20 or 30 mins off the bench if things are going good. Sane to play on the left with Bernardo central and Dave to drop out of first 11 but again if we need a breakthrough give him 30 mins

One good thing is that if we win 1-0 and have to go to extra time, our potentially tired legs won't benefit our weekend opponents. They will be equally tired on this occasion.

I think Spurs will be more dangerous than in the first leg where they weren't really dangerous at all. When Kane plays they they are forced to play the entire of their attack through him and he isn't quick.

They only need a goal and they will only get it on the break at pace. Lucas brings them another level of pace and he is coming in on the back of a hat trick at the weekend. Son and Erikksen are dangerous too.

We need to go for the goals but we also need to be very careful, we don't want a situation where we get ahead and then concede late and need to score 3.

My money is on 3-1 with a nervy end and we just about progress.

If we can beat Spurs at HOME, the. we don’t really deserve to go through to the Semi Final.
You can be damn sure Spurs will be there to defend and try to catch us in the counter. They defended well at their gaff, it’s up to us to take the chances we make. There won’t be many as they know we will have trouble breaking down their parked bus.
Personally, I don’t care if we go out, as long as we win the Premier League & FA Cup.
Cant see the dippers getting past Barca, as Messi and Co will rip VanDick a new one and expose him for the carthorse he really is.

I can't see anything other than a Dipper win against Barca, they are a much better team than we want to admit, as for Van Dyke he is the main reason that they are sat where they are and he would walk into our central defence as well as Barca's

Even more so as we’ve got more options to rotate

Yep, same here

I am hoping we line up like this.

-----------------------Eddie-------------------------
Danilo------Stones-------Laporte-------Mendy
-----------KDB------Ferny-------Merlin-----------
----Berny-----------Jesus--------------Sterling-

It's 09:25 and I am struggling to concentrate on my work. I can see a few Balance sheets not squaring today. Kick off seems so far away
