I really disagree. I think he had a brilliant game. Created lots of chances, got a goal, did a lot of defensive work. The game was underwhelming, Nunes was one of the few players who dragged the intensity up in our team.
I'm afraid we'll have to agree to disagree in this case, I appreciate his recent contributions in games that we either should be winning comfortably or are playing a weakened side in hopes of going out. I haven't like Nunes since day one (mainly because he has the same ratty look of a Scouser) and can't say I understand the sudden hype around him, although I can only hope that this will raise his price tag enough for us to cash it at the earliest opportunity.

He does look like a scouser to be fair. This is something that can't go under the radar when assessing a player. Apart from last night, he's been poor but then whilst watching the match, I found it difficult to keep my mind from wandering to Sarah Connor's impressive "performance".

He has stats this season in the small amount of games he has played that the other 3 wide players could only dream about.

If stats are all you care about then I'm afraid your part of the problem. I judge players based on the eye test look at Haaland's wonder goal against Prague for example, Nunes will get an assist for that but all of the hard work was done by Haaland and this is often the case with Nunes.

I think you'll find it was her "performances" that were impressive, I'm glad your coming back round to my way of thinking with Nunes I was starting to think I wouldn't be able to watch the Bournemouth game with you on Saturday.
