Spurs goal

Personally, I would get rid of off-side altogether.

Some players are so quick nowadays that there is no way an assistant can see if it is on-side or not.

When Anelka was with us, how many times was he given off-side when replays showed that he was not?

Tiatto away v boro, disallowed due to a player being at the far post even though he shot straight in across the 'keeper.
That was appalling - Tiatto was nowhere near the ball or the goal, and even back then the rule book had a diagram that said this was "NOT OFFSIDE". Anyway, was Defoe "clearly obstructing the GK's line of vision or movement"? - if not, it's not offside.

So when two players are just cherry picking the 18 all game and bombing the ball back and forth will you still watch football?

You've got to be kidding?!?

That would completely destroy the game of football much like the days where a keeper could pick up a back pass and hold onto it for long periods. Taking offside out of football would demote it to something that looks like kids playing on the playground.
