Spurs (H) 2nd Leg - Post Match Thread

That was a cruel way for it to end with the goal being disallowed, A missed penalty in the first leg and a few defensive lapses tonight ultimately cost us.
The team gave it their all and dominated the game so can't be too disappointed (well I am really). The same scoreline at the weekend will do us fine.

Shit from our fullbacks. We all knew this gonna happen.... We did a spursy. And maybe lost the league also after all these efforts !!! FRUSTRATING

I thought Silvas touch would be interpreted as a block to the spurs players ball and not an intentional pass

just as a defender block does not play an attacker onside at opposite end of pitch?

Never felt we were ever in control of that game. Poor defending and costly decision making. Did we see a replay of the offside goal ? Ref made the decision unbelievably quickly. Monaco, Dippers and now the Spuds. 3 teams we're better than but who have knocked us out. Fans were brilliant tonight. The team and Pep were not.

We haven't defended like that for a long time and those individual errors have cost us. Put it right with the treble!

being told to fuck off just because I said Laporte costed you this match and the semi finals. Which he did.

Stay classy guys, stay classy. But by all means, use VAR as a scapegoat.

We need to seriously start fucking off the two domestic cups next season. It’s an extra 11 games and it’s just too much if we’re seriously trying to win the Champions League.
If we start fucking anything off we will end up with fuck all.

Sore to go out in that fashion, but our first leg performance ultimately cost us. Bottom line is that we are out of Europe again and, in truth, we never looked entirely convincing against Lyon or Spurs. The question now is how much has that taken out of them physically and, perhaps more importantly, psychologically?
