Not all down to Gvardiol. We were collectively awful as a team. Attack is the first line of defence and we put way too much pressure on the defence.
 
injuries this, injuries that, Spurs were missing their best CB duo in Romero/van de Ven, Haaland and co should have licked their lips instead of the shit show they put on the pitch.
no comment on midfield and defence, they made it easy for Spurs to create and score freely.

the worst to me Pep had two weeks to analyze recent errors, mistakes and come up with something to make us more compact. well two weeks wasted.

these fuckers lost to mighty Ipswich at home 2 weeks ago but then they allowed to go home from Etihad with 4-0 win.

Txiki at fault big time, he was happy not to refresh the squad, record net spend, hope we enjoy that net spend trophy we will pay the price for that during the season no doubt.

we have to go still to white hart lane, Emirates, Anfield, Villa park, Old Toilet, play like today and its about 5 losses more...

spend as much on new transfer as on lawyers, Viana will be under immense pressure and to be fair rebuild needs to start 1st of January annd if Txiki continues to be comfortable, well CL places can be at risk.

Hate to agree. Whether the club are being overly cautious due to the money criticism when the likes of Chelsea appear to be able to spend what they want on who they want is a possibility. In real terms we haven’t invested in the playing side for 3 years. Most of the signings have been offset against sales. You can get away with it for a while but it finds you out.

To be fair, everything that can go wrong has gone wrong. We have the set up and manager to recognise the issues and do the right thing, but they need to get their finger out in January and this summer.
 
Fucksake, that was as bad as I've seen us for a long time. We cannot defend and seemingly just want to be as wasteful as possible at the other end. Pep has to see how awful we are being setup surely? It's just bordering on fucking stubbornness now.
 
This type of run had to happen sometime...no team can win all the time. Now is the time we have to stand up and really get behind the team. We have had fantastic success over many years watching the best team ever. Now we may have to suffer for a bit but we will be back...come on City.

In fairness to Gvardiol he isn't usually appalling at defending. Think he's been carrying an injury since the Carabao as well

If out PR team would start calling these cunts out and stop pandering to them. Needs to start at the next press conference, answer no questions except on the pitch ones.
 
We need something else in that midfield. I’d honestly look at bringing O’Reilly in yes he’s on the technical wave length of anyone else but he’s a physical specimen and we need some like that OOP.
