Spurs (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

I don't think it's all down to Rodri at the moment, we have a number of other issues which happen to have coincided with his injury.
We’ve had a number of issues for a while and Rodri’s injury, plus a few other players missing, have brought it all to a head.

Complacency in the boardroom, signing second rate players to replace elite players, too small a squad and insufficient focus on the physical aspects of the game.

We did very well last season to win the league, and I think that was largely due to individual performances, given that at times we seemed to lack fluidity and defensive strength.

This season all of our vulnerabilities have emerged at the same time and it will take a long time and money to fix it.

That midfield is so weak. Gundo coming back was supposed to be a fringe player. Lewis, Silva and Foden are totally out of form. Those three glaring misses by Erling were crucial. Great support in the groung when we were 3-0 down.

At the end of the day Spurs were simply better than us and deserved it.

Love this forum. Absolute wet lettuces who know nothing other than being spoilt

For the empty heads, this is football. Sometimes you go through a major slump, the same ones you all enjoy other clubs’ demise when they’re going through it.

We WILL be champions come May.

And then you can all take your faces for a massive dump an apologise.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Indeed

We actually started the season well without him, so the idea we can't win without him is silly.

Of course he's a huge loss, but it's just as much to do with some players looking done at this level
Don't think we did. We were lucky against several sides. Fulham, Wolves and Southampton spring to mind.
