Love this forum. Absolute wet lettuces who know nothing other than being spoilt

For the empty heads, this is football. Sometimes you go through a major slump, the same ones you all enjoy other clubs’ demise when they’re going through it.

We WILL be champions come May.

And then you can all take your faces for a massive dump an apologise.
I'm sorry mate but it ain't happening this season, not without Rodri.

Its time to look atthe bigger picture.....the mainstay of this team has finished it cycle.......Gundo is done and dusted, Stones cannto be trusted sue to constant injury issues...walker has lost 2 yds of pace and KDB wont finish half a season let alone a full one.

The immediate issue is the midfield....we arent getting Rodri back until May (and there is zero point in rushing him back - no point in him playing a few games and risking it).

Gundo is done - he is giving nothing in terms of attack or defence. ...he shoudlnt get near the pitch after that performance but will most likely have to start due to no other options.

Rico Lewis - he has the techincal skill in tight areas...but neither is he good enough going forward or running back towards his own goal (which he doesnt have the physicality to do) ...there are better fullbacks and there are better central midfielders out there esp for a team that wants to win things. ..his main skill is in the small spaces passing and recieving in them....but that is it.

Stones - plays 2-3 games at most and then injured- he is a quality player but you need a bigger squad and better options to accommodate him. ...if he was fit and could stay fit he is almost a perfect fit to cover Rodri....however the simple fact is that he is not.

We are seeing teams week on week having a free run at our back four or back 2 as our midfield cannot recover and we we cant keep posession in the middle third and attacking third...Rico and GUndo are extremely guilty of that

And those thinking KDB is going to change anything are wrong..yes he will improve us but he wont solve the bigger issue..he may add a bit more creativity but we are swapping Gundo who cant run for a KDB who cant run but has more creativity.....

We are now in a battle for top 4 .....the scousers wont be able to wait to play us.....others to...sit deep wait for us to lose and pass through our non existant midfield with our fulbackstoo high who then (along with the midfielders) cant recover. .....rinse and repeat...
Yip,and not addressing the glaring issues and leaving it to pep to sort the last few transfer windows have been like for a team that is happy to just be grateful to be in te premier league not signings that keep us top dog ..

I’m sorry but what was he thinking with that midfield. I said it a while ago however the recruitment has been laughable

Last week, I said to my brother-in-law that while he polishes the Premier League trophy in anticipation of Liverpool's inevitable win, I’m so confident we’ll still win it that I’ll place a bet: I’ll send him a bottle of Jameson when they [Liverpool] win. But I also look forward to receiving the bottle myself when we win, come May.

Slightly regretting that now
Have faith

At least there was an effort from the crowd (what was left) in SS1 & 3 after the 4th and at FT. A rendition of Champions Again and then Blue Moon

Wishful thinking that mediocre performances can win the PL. Most likely after next week, the title talk will be over.

Only an absolute loon would try to defend that performance. The worst City team I've seen for 20 years.

There were moments today that I missed the days of Javi Garcia and Jack Rodwell.
Fucking hell. Steady on.

Too many games; too many injuries. We were undone by a superb pass for their first goal and an individual error for the second. That was pretty much match over barring a miracle with the depleted squad we've got.

We'll turn it around.

Mate this isn't your joke thread

We aren't very good any more are we
The last to know are those involved, Peps been fucking amazing and changed football in this country, unfortunately the apprentices/copycats have overtaken us.

You can only reinvent the wheel so many times.

How many great teams have ever lost 5 on the bounce nevermind to average teams.
