It's a culmination of things added togetherIt's hard to take, what is the true cause ? who knows ? The fans will be the last to know, after the hacks, execs, players, staff etc etc etc..
First is the amount of football all (except Haaland) have played over the last few seasons. Our more mature players haven't had a break and they are creaking
Winning the net spend trophy is commendable, but to stay at the top you have to keep refreshing with top quality and we haven't
An example being letting Alvarez go and no replacement incoming
I spoke earlier about Grealsh at the end of the game and that loss today didn't hurt him, so it's obvious there's a lack of desire in some players
We have fallen off a cliff and it's going to take a heck of a transfer window to sort it and make us competitive again
We need to buy not just talented players, but leaders
Can you imagine Fernandinho's reaction if he was in that dressing room today
