It's an upgrade on last season's result.

We are simply not a great team anymore. Our era of dominance is over. It happens to them all eventually. Liverpool and United dominated eras but it doesn't last forever. Now it's our turn for it to come to an end.

No killer instinct anymore either. 3 years ago I'd fully expect us to get something from a losing position, just because of the killer mentality we had. We no longer have it. Players are laughing and smiling on the bench or having craic with opposing subs while we're losing.

The city era is over. Frustrating times ahead.

I don’t want to pick on him as I’m sure he’s feeling like shit already, but how did Trafford beat out Ortega for the starting job when he was signed only three weeks ago? Or was he, for some reason, just handed the job? Either way, he’s looked thoroughly and totally out of his depth in two of three games.

That being said, we have other issues as well, but it’s a long season. On to the next one now.

Frustrating game, but take nothing away from Spurs, they were simply just better than us. Some stud checks are in order, too. Never seen us slip around so much.

A hoo doo club out of the way in the second game is good though. We get our shit together ready for next weekend.

Go on City!

Some of that was on par with the worst of last year. Still relying on Doke and Bernardo, still struggling to create, midfield getting burnt on the counter and still the same defensive errors.

Exactly the same as last year just with younger players, has anything changed?

Could have put that game right in the middle of that streak last winter and it would look right at home.

Rico is still out of position in defence, Trafford looks like the lights are a little too bright right now and Doku couldn't keep the ball in play if he was in a 5-a-side cage. That being said, more than enough players were bad.
