Get the bogey team out of the way, but by God that was a terrible watch. Lots of work to be done, no one played well today
 
We are just a really bad team. Today really highlighted just how vital a sweeper keeper type keeper is to our system.

Don’t even blame Trafford but the build up was shocking . He is being asked to do something the clearly can’t do.

Haaland again doesn’t score a sitter and fails to pass 5 yards for a tap in. Need more from supposedly the best striker in the world.

The brutal truth is that they were fitter, better organised and better coached than us. They dominated the game from the 30 minutes mark

The other brutal truth is that the same familiar failings are evident. They are structural and tactical and lie at the door of the coaching staff.

We have a tough start on paper and as ive said before im not sure pep will still be here at Christmas. If he cannot and will not change then he can have no complaints.
 
That 2nd half was genuinely one of worst City performances in a very long time. Zero desire and zero creativity. Such an incoherent mess. Struggling to find even a single positive to take from that. Never expected to see such terrible football from us this season with the players WE had on the pitch.

The tactics don’t work.

The system from back to front is broken.

We pass about at the back not knowing what to do. If the ball gets into midfield we run into blind alleys, wingers constantly head down.

The lack of cohesion passing around the box is poor. The few chances created are not taken.

The defending is atrocious.

The lack of effort after we go down goals. Press was ok for a while first half.

No point calling anyone out. It’s broken.

We need 3 world class players min to play pep’s system.

Something has to give blues. No point not acknowledging the problems.

In summary, it is not working anymore. If we keep living in the past we won’t move forward.

Dominance is over. Whats next?

P.s. there’s hundreds on here that are comfortable with Trafford being number 1 lol.
 
Worrying thing (ok one of many worrying things) was we looked equally clueless before and after all the substitutions. Rico and Bobb as a right wing partnership don't have the physicality, put the two together and they'd still be smaller than most defenders, still no speed on the counter and if Doku is the answer I'd hate to see the fucking question

Rubbish. Feeding on scraps as pep got his no through balls no counter attacks tactics into the team after last weeks anomaly.
