Bobb 7That was simply terrible. I can’t think of a single City player who put in a 5 out of 10 performance.
Gonzo 6
Beef 7
Apart from that , let me think for a while ....

I don’t think we will might bring a keeper in but definitely no right back ..We need spend BIG on a right back and sort the goalkeeping situation out !
Any other team and its given, as bad as we were, the ref was embarrassingly worseClutching but how was that not a pen on Bobb
Trafford is terrifying with the ball at his feet and looks like a rabbit in the headlightsStop Panicking.
It's a rebuild and there will be growing pains.
Trafford was solid and didn't do anything wrong!!
Deserves to be our number #1. For everyone complaining I don't see you doing any better than him and he showed his grit with that double save!
He is right ,we do simple things wrong ,but he is the one who needs to change it or bring in better players. Football is a simple game, couldn´t defend ,couldnt pass ,couldnt score, can´t win like this, simple as that.Don’t know what he was watching but hope he doesn’t believe what he says.
Bollox Bobb was good todayOur wingers are shit.
Right before the 1st goal Reijinders had the whole box to himself to take a touch and shoot. Instead for some reason he tried some mad eye of the needle pass out wide.First half was frustrating, Spurs looked sharp and dangerous but Marmoush and Haaland didn’t take the opportunities that came their way. If we’d scored first that’s a completely different match. As the half wore on we had issues with poor decision making from both Reijnders and Cherki. Second goal killed us unfortunately.
I know we hoped second half that we’d charge out of the blocks and get a goal and the entire mood changes but it felt as if after Haaland’s poor pass we gave up the ghost. Passing after that was dreadful.
Some bigger issues with our lack of creativity post KDB and Trafford’s ability with his feet. Hopefully Ait Nouri’s injury isn’t serious.
While Frank has only had 3 Spurs matches, they loom like a side who’s had a full preseason. We weren’t sharp enough. It’s also easier to sit deep and break than cut through a good defensive block.
I thought in general Reijnders, Cherki, Dias, Stones, Ake, Lewis, Nico and Bernardo struggled today. I don’t think Pep rates O’Reilly defensively in big games as he would definitely have supported Marmoush and Doku better.
Too early for anyone to press the panic button despite some of the nonsense on here.
Unfortunately we have a very tough start this season after no real preseason so things may get a little worse before they get better.
Khusanov. Should be starting.Lack of pace in our team, especially the defense is and absolute killer at the highest level. Only real lighting pace with have is doku and he is dreadful.
Cherki looked lost which is on the management but then they took him off and replaced with bernardo which was a masterstroke.
I think Pep is muddled by the size of the squad mate, we have too many options now and he doesn't know the best elevenPep needs to work out what on earth he wants from his wide players, and the blueprint simply has to change.
Starting with the attackers - we’ve been recruiting or starting players who are (fairly described as) slightly. They’re quick, but they’re not strong. Marmoush is something of an exception but that’s because he’s of a normal build - not a strong one. Otherwise Doku, Bobb, Savinho, Bernardo, Foden (although he seems slightly better at retaining through pure tenacity) are a certain blueprint of a winger. The number of times we lose the ball through these players is not great and undermines us in the middle. Losing the ball is traditionally a trade off for wingers - acceptable, because they take players on (which is a risk) so it trades off and you hope the net result is a positive. But… they don’t really take anyone on! They lose the ball tonnes for players who’s main outlet is either a whipped ball in to no one, or a pass back to centre midfielders who (without an effective wide player) trip over themselves.
Meanwhile, Lewis at the back as a slightly and weak full back, on the same side as Bobb, makes zero sense. He’s the sort of player who, if sold to say Crystal Palace, I’d lap up seeing on the team sheet as a weak link in defence. He’s the sort of player who you gain confidence against when playing 5 a side because they’re weak - the sort you look up and see and think, I’ll have a go.
To think that we might be selling Savinho, to acquire another ‘blueprint’ player in Rodrygo (allegedly) doesn’t fill me with confidence.
I know there are faults elsewhere on the pitch, but I truly think they’re caused by an existential crisis of what to do with wide players. It undermines the middle in a game where I felt Stones, Dias and Haaland played well. Reijnders, Cherki and Bernardo couldn’t support in the middle because they were being pulled out wide to support players who couldn’t retain the ball or hold their all. And Trafford had a bit of a tough time but stronger fullbacks would have disabled the press that caused this.
It’s a recruitment issue that won’t cost us every week, because the quality of our squad should get us over the line on many occasions, but which will cost us in games against great tacticians and top athletes. Both of which we encountered today in a top and well drilled spurs side
Unless we buy real quality which is not available we are wasting our money.I think its probably time to move on from the Pep era as he is starting to look like yesterdays man.If I was a betting man….and I am…….I would say at least some of today was the result of Pep having to demonstrate to the board that we need to be more active in the transfer market….when some of them obviously th8nk the side is strong enough already…..
Not sure who said it pre match but I expect we’ll see a flurry of activity before the window closes…
Bwahahahaha fuck off. Trafford absolutely shit his pants.Stop Panicking.

Pay whatever we need to pay to get Donnarumma on our side
It might if we played him up front or in midfield. And would that fix what we saw today ? No.
